Are you unable to control your asthma with conventional asthma controller medications? Are your normal daily activities interrupted or can you no longer sleep soundly at night due to your asthma?
For patients like you, local doctors are now conducting the LAVOLTA II research study of an investigational drug (lebrikizumab) for asthma patients who are unable to control their asthma with asthma medication. They want to evaluate the safety and effectiveness of lebrikizumab and compare the results to placebo (a liquid that is the same as lebrikizumab, but contains no active ingredients).
If you have been medically diagnosed with asthma and are currently taking an Inhaled Corticosteroid and a second controller medication for your asthma, but still have difficulty controlling your symptoms, we hope that you will consider learning more about this study.
